What to expect:
In the morning we'll use the cards for written personal exploration, and in the afternoon we'll use the cards for creative writing excercises. We will also touch on ways you can use the cards to cope with writer's block.
When you email to reserve a space, we will ask you to answer a few questions so that we
can tailor the exercises to meet the needs and interests of the group.
We will create a supportive environment and will encourage participants to share the work they produce throughout the day.
While we will address some of the basic symbolism of the Tarot and are happy to answer general questions about the Tarot, the focus of this workshop will not be on reading the cards.
To see examples of ways writers can use the cards for inspiration, go to the Writing & Tarot page. These exercises will give you a feel for what we will be doing in the workshop.
