Intermediate Tarot Reading Workshop Date: Saturday, June 21, 2008 (Please note that the date has changed.) This workshop is for those who have taken Beginning Tarot Reading or who have begun studying tarot on their own and want some practice and guidance. Ideally participants already understand the structure of a tarot deck—the difference between the major and minor arcana, and have some basic knowledge regarding the symbolism of the suits and numerological principals of tarot. Basic familiarity with the court cards would be helpful as well. Most importantly, participants will already know how to engage with the imagery of a card to develop an interpretation of it. We will spend a little time reviewing the above, but most of the session will be spent practicing doing readings for one another. We will also introduce a technique or two. We will use the Rider-Waite deck for this workshop and will have extras to lend out to those who don’t have one. Our Philosophy:
