Readings

Three-Card Tarot Readings by Email – $15.00

Ordering a Reading Takes Three Steps

Step 1: Please read through this page before requesting a reading (at the very least, read the "Phrasing Your Question" section) to make sure that I'm the reader for you. Tarot readers and seekers have varying philosophies, so let's make sure my beliefs and approach to the Tarot is compatible with yours.

Step 2: Click on the order button where you will be redirected to a form asking for the following information:

  • Your first name.
  • Your gender.
  • Your date of birth: month, day, and year.
(You must be at least 18 years old to receive a reading.)
  • The email address where you would like your reading sent.
  • Your question (Please make sure you read the Phrasing Your Question section below.) I will design a spread to go with your question.
  • Any other information or details you feel will be helpful for me to know. I do not consider myself a psychic, but rather a Tarot counselor, and the more information you provide, the more specific I can be in interpreting the cards.
  • You will also be asked to check a box that says you agree to the following statement: "I understand that I am responsible for the choices I make and the direction my life takes and that a Tarot reading is for entertainment purposes only." (It is my hope that you will feel enlightened or inspired in addition to being entertained :)

Step 3: After you fill out the form, there will be an Add to Cart button, which will allow you to pay for your reading through PayPal.

Readings will be emailed within 24 to 72 hours after payment is received. The Rider-Waite deck will be used for all readings.

Please read the following section before ordering a reading.

Phrasing Your Question

There are times when we would all like to believe there is a magical answer to our problems, one that will ensure the pain will go away and that there will be better times ahead. Because of Tarot’s long-standing reputation as a tool for fortune telling, many believe that the cards will provide magical answers and predict the future. This is unfortunate because it undermines the true power of the cards, which is to help us tap into our inner wisdom where the answers we seek truly lie. We have the power to determine the direction our lives take, therefore, the best questions for the Tarot are ones that ask for guidance, insight, or clarity regarding our circumstances.

It is also important to note that Tarot is not a substitute for good old-fashioned communication. It will not allow us to read another person’s mind. What the cards can do is help us figure out if and how we might approach someone to ask them what they are thinking or how they are feeling.

Below are example questions that can be effectively answered by the cards. You can adapt them or write your own question.

Please make sure your question...

  • focuses on the insight, guidance, or clarity you need to make positive changes in your life and does not ask for a prediction or advice about what to do.

  • is self-focused and does not depend upon what another is thinking or feeling.

Also feel free to include any other information that you feel is important for me to know. I do not consider myself a psychic, but rather a Tarot counselor, and the more information you provide, the more specific I can be in interpreting the cards.

Code of Ethics

Honest Dealings: I will represent my professional and Tarot qualifications truthfully, and will interpret the cards to the best of my ability with honesty and integrity.

Confidentiality: All readings will be held in strict confidence unless I feel my silence may jeopardize the safety of my client or another, or unless my records are subpoenaed by a court of law.

Prediction Belief: Because I believe in free will, I will not use the cards to make predictions but rather will encourage my clients to determine the direction their futures will take. Likewise, I will not predict an illness, death, or other bad news. While the cards may encourage a client to explore difficult issues, I believe a reading should never leave a client feeling scared or powerless.

Third-Party Readings: I do not believe the Tarot can read the mind of a third party, and therefore I will only do readings that focus on what my clients are thinking or feeling.

Limits of My Expertise: I am not qualified to give medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice. If my client needs the services of a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or therapist, I will recommend that they consult a licensed professional.

Respect and Compassion: I will treat all of my clients with respect regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. I will be nonjudgmental in addressing their questions, decisions, or actions and will interpret the cards with sensitivity and compassion. Additionally, I will show respect for my professional colleagues.

Empowerment: I will empower my clients to make healthy choices and encourage them to take responsibility for their actions. I will discourage my clients from becoming dependent upon the Tarot or my services and will not solicit return visits.

Professional Growth: I will actively seek ways to further my Tarot studies so that I may develop my skills as a reader.

Client Satisfaction: I will issue a refund to any client who is unhappy with their reading.
